You can find last week’s list of Featured Fitness Content here. As a quick aside before we get into today’s featured content, I wanted to let everyone know that we have some new apparel coming soon…
The new hats are the first piece of our new Climb Higher series. This logo will be embedded into a leather patch and hand-stitched onto the four hats pictured below. The company producing this line has made hats for big name companies like MeatEater.
The hats will not be available until August, but the colors here are what we’ve ordered (Steel Blue w/ Silver, Camo w/ Black, Black, and Grey w/ White). If you are interested in purchasing one, you can pre-order by contacting us. Otherwise, any leftover hats will be up for sale on the RuthlessPerformance.com shop in mid-August. More than 25% of the hats we’ve ordered in this production line are already reserved. The hats are $25 and have free delivery to any of the Ruthless Performance partner locations in Eastern Pennsylvania.
If you want one, be sure to let us know ASAP. In the message include: your name, first color choice, second color choice (if applicable), plus quantity.

New on Ruthless Performance
We’ve posted the first part in our two-part series on how I’m training for an upcoming ascent of King’s Peak in Utah. To minimize equipment and time requirements for the climb, I’m speed ascending the last 23-miles of the ascent.
Essentially this means that I’ll be trail running from basecamp to the highest point in Utah in a goal time of less than 8 hours.
You can read Part-1 here. This first part essentially explains some of my past encounters with the state of Utah, particularly during my Ruthless Performance Ride America initiative.
Part-2 (coming soon) will cover precisely what I’m doing to account for changes in elevation, mobility and correctives to account for the terrain, my pacing strategies in training, and more.
